Never put all your eggs in one basket. Never dump all your money in one stock/mutual fund just because it has been performing better than others.

Build a diverse profile. So even if a calamity strikes, you don’t end up loosing everything in one shot. [^arjun921]

Be Humble

The human mind

You are the reflection of the five people you spend the most time with. [^Not born smart]

Dumb people are the ones who say, “Oh, that’s not relevant to me. I don’t need to know that.” Smart people are the ones who say, “That’s interesting. I didn’t know that. Tell me more.” [^Not born smart]

Every misstep is an opportunity to learn a lesson, improve, and move forward. [^Not born smart]

There are high chances, no one’s going to come and give you that “wake up” call to work on yourself. Only you yourself can make yourself realise the things you need work on. [^arjun921]

Humans aren’t very good at evaluating ourselves, what we’re good at.
We frequently overestimate our own abilities. People are often stuck in a bubble of superiority over others since they haven’t actually evaluated themselves. [^Dunning Kruger Effect]

Do not skimp on sleep by saying “sleep is for the weak”.
This is ignorance and it’s going to affect your mental state and functioning without you knowing.

In your 20s, the only thing you should be worrying about is hustling and getting your career on a rock-solid state.
