It takes years of practice to stay calm and composed;
even when your house is burning down.
Don’t let people make you feel bad for looking out obscure Unix commands, weird git commands, or need help rebasing stuff that you don’t use every day. We all look stuff up.

You can tell them I said so. Send them here. 30 years, still looking up stuff every day. pic.twitter.com/BtuzCGMtps

Disclaimer: These are my personal experiences, YMMV. Proceed with caution and a clear head before deciding to use my advice for Investments. I take no responsibility for your actions in investments based on tips from this page.
When markets crash, the cost of each unit decreases significantly. If you continue investing as you did before, you end up having more purchasing power with the same money.

During the Covid-19 pandemic, all investments that I personally made in the FY 2020-21, ended up showing a growth of 51-54%.

Never put all your eggs in one basket. Never dump all your money in one stock/mutual fund just because it has been performing better than others.
Build a diverse profile. So even if a calamity strikes, you don’t end up loosing everything in one shot. [^arjun921]

He replied, “Divyanshu, I’ve no clue about the industry you’re in.”
When the most successful are so comfortable in saying they don’t know, then why do we have to think that we know-it-all!

You are the reflection of the five people you spend the most time with. [^Not born smart]
Dumb people are the ones who say, “Oh, that’s not relevant to me. I don’t need to know that.” Smart people are the ones who say, “That’s interesting. I didn’t know that. Tell me more.” [^Not born smart]
Every misstep is an opportunity to learn a lesson, improve, and move forward. [^Not born smart]
There are high chances, no one’s going to come and give you that “wake up” call to work on yourself. Only you yourself can make yourself realise the things you need work on. [^arjun921]
Humans aren’t very good at evaluating ourselves, what we’re good at.
We frequently overestimate our own abilities. People are often stuck in a bubble of superiority over others since they haven’t actually evaluated themselves. [^Dunning Kruger Effect]
Do not skimp on sleep by saying “sleep is for the weak”.
This is ignorance and it’s going to affect your mental state and functioning without you knowing.
In your 20s, the only thing you should be worrying about is hustling and getting your career on a rock-solid state.

Do it again, the next day.
Someday If you ain't feeling upto it; just do it for 5 minutes.

Take a butterfly 🦋 growing in a cocoon.
Now, for some reason, we might need these cocoons to become butterflies today...
But you yelling at the cocoon isn’t going to make it transform into a monarch any quicker.

When you're working on unsupervised learning; start a course on deeplearning by @AndrewYNg and you hear, "Yeah, I think many of the senior people in deep learning, including myself, remain very excited about it. It's just none of us really have almost any idea how to do it yet"

Man's only scope of thinking is limited to his own brain. The more you see the wider that scope becomes. The more you listen, the further you can use in future. When was the last time you came up with an idea that wasn't inspired by something you'd already seen?
